Why We Started THe ReWild Society

For nearly all of human history, humans lived embedded in tribes and nature, regulated by the presence of other people, sunlight, seasonal rhythm, and movement. Our nervous systems evolved within those conditions. At a cellular level, they're still calibrated to them.

Modern life has quietly removed almost all of it. We're isolated indoors, overstimulated, under artificial light, and chronically alone in ways our biology was never designed to handle. The result isn't weakness. It's evolutionary mismatch. A widening gap between the environment your biology expects and the one you actually live in.

Most people try to close that gap through optimization: better sleep, meditation apps, supplements. All useful and important! However, none of it fully works, because none of it addresses the actual deficit.

The ReWild Society exists to close that gap. We are built on a simple premise rooted in biology: humans evolved in nature, in community, and in rhythm. When those things are absent, we pay for it. We exist to bring them back by creating a space for people to connect outside, put the screens away, and “be” in the presence of other people who feel the same longing for deeper, authentic human connection.

The Team Behind the Connection

TINA DAVIS

Tina’s path to ReWild began with her own 14-year healing journey through Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, an autoimmune condition that led her to explore a wide range of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual healing modalities. Along the way, she learned that while personal growth requires deep inner work, true healing was never meant to happen in isolation.

Through her own experience, Tina came to understand community as one of the most essential pillars of wellness. No matter how committed we are to becoming healthier, happier, and more whole, the journey becomes lighter, more meaningful, and far more joyful when we walk it alongside others.

That belief is what inspired her to create The ReWild Society: a space for like-minded individuals who are on their own path of healing, self-discovery, and reconnection. Her hope is to make wellness feel less lonely, less serious, and a lot more fun.

CHRIS DAVIS, LMT

Chris is an orthotherapist whose hands-on instincts for healing showed up long before any formal training. He specializes in orthotherapy, a clinical approach that combines orthopedic massage and kinesitherapy to treat musculoskeletal dysfunction, restore balance, and resolve pain. Holding a BA from Georgetown and an MBA from Boston University, Chris trained in clinical massage at the Barberio School of Massage and has since pursued rigorous specialty certifications across orthopedic medical massage, prenatal care, advanced cupping, and kinesiology taping.

KEVIN DAVIS, LAC

Kevin is a licensed mental health counselor in NJ specializing in attachment-based, nervous-system-informed psychotherapy. With graduate training from Seton Hall University and an undergraduate degree from Georgetown University, Kevin brings a uniquely integrative lens to his clinical work, weaving together attachment theory, polyvagal theory, evolutionary psychology, and contemporary neuroscience to help clients restore safety, connection, and resilience. Kevin works with adults and adolescents in the outpatient setting navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment insecurity, and nervous system dysregulation.
